acib won a prize at this years science2business award

The project "Pichia pastoris cell factory for protein production" that made it possible to optimize the production of enzymes which can degrade mycotoxines on feed grain acib was assigned the 2. prize at the science2business Award 2012 - an awesome success for the winning team from BOKU Vienna, TU Graz and the company partners Biocrates Life Sciences, Biomin, Boehringer Ingelheim, Lonza, Sandoz and VTU Technology.

EU project "KRYIOBIO" started

In December 2011 the EU project "The discovery, development and demonstration of biocatalysts for use in the industrial synthesis of chiral chemicals" short "KRYOBIO" has started. acib is leader of the work package: "Fermentation Science for Novel Enzymes and Improved Fermentation Strains"
