Organisation of the company

ACIB is a Limited Liability Company (GmbH) according to Austrian Law. According to its articles of association the purpose of the company is defined as development and implementation of scientific concepts and findings in the field of industrial biotechnology. 

The company is a non-profit research centre. The major aim of the company is the accomplishment of scientific research in the field of industrial biotechnology and related fields. Additionally, the company is active in education and gathering, transferring and distributing scientific information. Scientific results are transferred to academia and industry.
