ACIB Partners

ACIB is a competence centre in the field of industrial biotechnology and performs interdisciplinary research in co-operation with different partners.

The consortium is constantly open for new partners and we encourage interested companies to contact us. In addition, we ourselves will also keep actively approaching prospective company partners. The availability of COMET funding is, however, limited, so speed of decision counts!

Funding institutions	The research programme of the centre is promoted by the COMET-programme of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency. Other funding institutions are the provinces of Styria, Tyrol and Vienna. The  COMET-programme is financed by the Austrian Federal Ministries for Transport, Innovation and Technology and of Economy, Family and Youth.
Scientific Partners	ACIB conducts its research work in close co-operation with seven Austrian universities and universities of applied sciences.
Company Partners	ACIB works at the interface of fundamental and applied research. The close co-operation with and co-financing by company partners guarantees the application-orientation of the centre's research work.
