COMET-Competence Centers for Excellent Technologies

ACIB participates in the COMET programme within two different programme lines, K2- and K-Projects.

The projects formulated live up to the follwing criteria:

• most ambitioned orientation towards excellency
• establishment and maintainance of technological leadership in order to promote Austria as a research location
• integration of international research knowhow (K2)

COMET K2-Centre	ACIB is one of the only five Austrian K2-Centres. The COMET programme is the responsible for the core funding of ACIB.
K-Project Macrofun	Macrofun is a  K-Project in the framework of the COMET programme. The aim of the project is to investigate the interface between enzymes and macromolecules. ACIB is one of the scientific partners and offers administrative service.
