ACIB closely cooperates with its associated partners in defined fields of research. The idea of associated partnerships is to strengthen the knowledge base and enhance the scientific ACIB-network in the field of industrial biotechnology.

	University of Salzburg	ACIB cooperates cloesely with the Structural Biology Group of Prof. Hans Brandstetter at the University of Salzburg. This research group represents special expertise in the field of X-ray-crystallography to study structure and function of proteins.
	Technical University Delft	TU Delft cooperates with many other educational and research institutions, both in the Netherlands and abroad. The high quality of our research and teaching is renowned. TU Delft has numerous contacts with governments, trade associations, consultancies, industry and small and medium-sized companies. acib has already sent scientists to TU Delft for an exchange of expertise.
	Biokatalyse2021	Biokatalyse2021 and acib have established a strategic alliance in the field of indutrial biotechnology with the aim to establish industrial biotechnology as a European research focus and to secure the sustainable application of biotechnological processes.
	The Molecular Foundry	The Molecular Foundry, established at University of California, is a Department of Energy-funded program providing support to researchers from around the world whose work can benefit from or contribute to nanoscience. There is an intensive exchage of expertise with acib coworkers spending some time at Molecuar Foundry to gain new insights for their resaerch work.
	Austrian Institute Technology	The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, Austria's largest non-university research institute, is among the European research institutes a specialist in the key infrastructure issues of the future.As an Ingenious Partner to industry and public institutions, AIT is already researching and developing the technologies, methods and tools of tomorrow ? paving the way for the innovations of the day after tomorrow.
