Renate Rogi-Kohlenprath studied technical chemistry at Graz University of Technology. She graduated and worked at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, the PhD thesis “Chemoenzymatic Syntheses of Immunmodulatores” was supervised by Prof. H. Hönig.
After that time she worked as a free-lance in the field of technical documentation and switched to the Research Centre Applied Biocatalysis (A-B) 2002. There she was responsible for the development of different management processes and internal reporting.
As of start of ACIB Renate Rogi-Kohlenprath was coordinator of the research field Protein Engineering and responsible for the coordination of the Comet K2 research programme. In Autumn 2011 she took over general management of ACIB.
