Rainer Schneider is Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Innsbruck. His research focus is on structural/functional/evolutionary relationships of proteins and enzymes with emphasis on receptor tyrosine kinases, RNAses, the ubiquitin system and its implications in human disease, E3-ubiquitin ligase defects in Parkinson's disease and embryonic malformations.
