Tanja Hajek studied Molecular Microbiology at the University of Graz. After finishing her diploma she has been working at TU Graz since 2006. Since 2008 she has been active as a scientific assistant and lab manager in the working group of Prof. Anton Glieder. During this time she was able to gather first experiences in accounting and management of EU projects (Oxygreen).

Tanja Hajek is a certified junior project manager (IPMA level D) and has successfully contributed to the application of several EU proposals. She was also involved in the K2 proposal application in the framework of the Austrian COMET programme.

As of November 1, 2010 she is assistant of Anton Glieder (CEO & CSO) of the Austrian Centre of Industrial Biotechnology (ACIB GmbH) and contact person for Scientific Coordination.
