Excellence Award for Clemens Stückler
Dr. Clemens Stückler from the organic/bioorganc chemistry -biocatalysis department of the University of Graz was awarded the "Excellence Award" of the Austrian Ministry for Science and Research for his outstanding thesis dealing with the Amplification of the substrate spectrum of enotate reductases. This award is granted for the best theses of the academic yer 2010/2011 and was solemly bestowed to the awardees by Federal Minister Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Töchterle on December 12, 2011.
The work for the thesis was done in close cooperation with the ACIB research field biocatalytic synthesis and is now continued within one of its research projects.
