Enzymes can decompose mycotoxins in feed grain
Natural toxins which often occur in corn, rye, wheat, or barley are not only dangerous for chicken, cattle or pigs but, via milk, eggs or meat they could also be harmful for human consumers. This risk shall be minimized by treating the feed grain with enzymes (proteins).
The method was developed by a reaserch group headed by Prof. Diethard Mattanovich.
